Biography

Professor Hubbell received his B.S. degree in Chemistry at Oregon State University in 1965 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry at Stanford University in 1970. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford, he joined the faculty of the Department of Chemistry at UC Berkeley. In 1983, he moved his laboratory to the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA.
