Project Brainstorm (Grades: K-12)

Project Brainstorm is a UCLA registered graduate student group whose goal is to stimulate interest in science for children and young adults in grades K-12. The program is sponsored by the UCLA Brain Research Institute (BRI) and its members include students from the Neuroscience Interdepartmental Ph.D. and Undergraduate Programs.The student group in this class, NS 192, . travel to classrooms in the Los Angeles Unified School District to present lessons and a series of hands-on activities demonstrating brain anatomy, organization, and function.
